Mr. Osten co-founded PC DOCS Group International, a TSX and Nasdaq listed company, and served as its CEO until the sale of the company in 1999. PC DOCS Group was a global company and one of the world’s leading providers of document management and practice management software. PC DOCS achieved revenues of $200M with customers in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and the Far East. The Company’s customers include Fortune 1000 companies, financial institutions, healthcare providers, manufacturing, consumer products, communications and pharmaceutical companies, utilities, government agencies, the legal industry, and accounting and other professions.
Mr. Osten has been involved in financing and executive management of a number of private companies. Mr. Osten was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cowboy Corp., a provider of customer relationship management software for the automotive industry until it was sold in 2003. He is also a director and advisor to a number of private companies as well as a member of the Board of Governors of Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Mr. Osten is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Thayaparam, a technology veteran, brings more than 14 years of experience in software design, development and technology management. Formerly, he led the engineering team at OP40, where he was responsible for infrastructure and building scalable systems. He began his career as Lecturer before leaving University to work at various start-ups including a Bluetooth startup, where he developed software used in airport and hotel management systems. Dr. Thayaparam graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK with PhD in Computational Physics.
